My Brother The Bear
Where do we even begin? We’ll start by saying My Brother The Bear (MBTB) was that diamond in the rough at last years WBFF.
Every year it seems we have a performance that stands out among all the others. Last year we were blessed to have two: Charlie Parr, and MBTB.
We’ve all been listening to music for a long time now (sadly most of us here at WBFF are well past our prime years….most of us, not all) and we think its safe to say that MBTB is one of the freshest, most articulate songwriters we’ve ever heard.
Blessed with such an amazingly tender voice, one that was born to catch tear drops if it hadn’t of put them in your eyes anyways. His attention to every detail in his songwriting you can hear at every sound, around every corner in his recordings.
After serving his country for the better part of 6 years, coming home and working a job that just didn’t satisfy his creative desires, he took a chance, moved back to Cincinnati, and decided to go all in and give this thing a shot.
There aren’t a lot of songwriters cut from the same cloth as MBTB, and when it comes to seeing him perform at this years festival, we’re all in.
